Dre’Quan Priest was always more of a hustler than a gangster. Rockstar says he once dealt on the streets to make ends meet, but the objective was music, not a permanent place in that world.
Now he is building Only Raw Records with Boobie Ike. Dre’Quan has signed Real Dimez and is aiming at the Vice City scene; Rockstar notes that his days booking acts into Boobie’s strip club may be numbered if the label’s plan works. He is positioned at the point where nightlife, music promotion and street ambition meet.
